		<description>Very True. Wherever there is opportunity, there are crooks. Being a Realtor myself, I can attest to the numerous scams we see in our market (Greater Phoenix Metro). The best way to avoid a scam is to deal with licensed professionals, starting with a real estate attorney.

As far as Mr Olsen's comment about not paying an upfront fee, even an attorney will charge an initial fee to try to offset any loses if the "short seller" suddenly "disappears", as is the case with many short sales.</description>

		<description>i wasn't surprised the headlines in the papers the other day, a lawyer, broker, real state agent had been nabbed because of scamming. i am wondering how come that they still have the courage considering that our fellow citizens are short financially.</description>
