Fantastic site, I really like your writing style. Very distinctive and to the point. On a lot of blogs people just drone on and on, but not you - very nice. Keep up the fine work! I don't have time to read all the articles right now, I found this site when looking for something else on Google, but I've bookmarked your homepage and will check back soon to see the latest news. I have been researching home mortgage options myself for a few months. Any suggestions for the best approach? Please check out my site at www.MortgageNewsman.com when you have time. Thanks again for a great web site.

It seems like the buyers are waiting for home prices to bottom out which is a bad strategy.
And the servicers are thinking that home values will start to stabilize but they seem to forget the
supply and demand concept. Even though mortgage rates are very low and first time home buyer tax incentives are available this may not be enough to entice buyers to get off the fence.
If we monetize the $8,000 tax credit to apply to the 3.5% down payment needed for FHA many buyers will still keep waiting for the better deal or home prices to drorp further. This is a terrible cycle to be in and the servicers particularly those in 2nd position should take the offer and move on. Besides what did they and the MI companies think in the beginning to stand behind 1st place.
